Position & Department Overview

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Day Shift
• 37 bed unit to include a dedicated 5-bed Behavioral Health Safe Suite located within the department.
• More than 53K visits per year (approximately 150 patients/day)

About this role:

• You will demonstrate advanced and specialized clinical knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of patient/family-focused care to promote health and/or well-being improve quality of life; drive practice changes throughout the organization and ensure use of evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
• You will be providing expertise and support, either directly or indirectly, by influencing patients/families, nurses/nursing practice, and organization/systems through direct care, leadership, coaching, research, ethical decision making, collaboration, and consultation.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: RN Master's Level Degree (6 year)
• Nursing Experience: Two (2) years
• CEN Certification (Certified Emergency Nurse) or other related specialty certification required.
• Virginia Clinical Nurse Specialist License in good standing.
• Virginia or Compact/Multistate RN in good stand required.
• BLS through AHA
• ACLS
• PALS
