Full-time, 7pm to 7am
Department/Position Overview:
This 24bed unit primarily serves our Joint, Spine and Observation patients. We care for total knee, total hip and spinal surgery patients as well as observation patients with diagnosis of chest pain, congestive heart failure, kidney stones, UTI, COPD, etc. We have had great outcomes using the Marshall-Steelprogram and the nurse driven protocols empower nurses at the bedside. We have a collaborative atmosphere with ancillary care and mid-level providers. Join our 4 West staff who are passionate about excellent care!

Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
