This is a Full-time & 100% Remote position

The Cyber Security Program Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic vision for the data protection, vulnerability management, medical device security and other cyber initiatives designed by the cyber security engineering leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, data protection, data privacy, risk, and vulnerability management, as well as experience program management across cross-functional teams. This is a critical role with the primary objective to ensure the effective execution of cyber security programs, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the context of medical device security.

Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience (5 years) in cyber security program management, with a focus on executing strategic directives and tactical implementation, vulnerability management, and medical device security. 
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection laws, regulations, and standards, particularly in the context of medical device security, such as FDA cyber security guidance and ISO 14971. 
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes, tools, and best practices, with experience in vulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cyber security engineering teams and cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience working in regulated industries, such as healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals, is highly desirable. 
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and complete multiple projects effectively and concurrently. 
  • Evaluate effectiveness of the internal security control framework and recommend adjustments as business needs change. 
  • Regularly interact with all levels of management to present and discuss control effectiveness. 
  • Review and coordinate changes to cyber security policies, procedures, and standards.

Job Description SummaryThe Cyber Security Program Manager will be responsible for executing the strategic vision for the data protection, vulnerability management, medical device security and other cyber initiatives designed by the cyber security engineering leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security, data protection, data privacy, risk, and vulnerability management, as well as experience program management across cross-functional teams. This is a critical role with the primary objective to ensure the effective execution of cyber security programs, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the context of medical device security.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) - Certification - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate closely with cyber security engineering teams to align data protection efforts, vulnerability management strategies, and medical device security protocols with overarching strategic objectives and architectural frameworks. 
  • Lead the tactical implementation of data protection programs, vulnerability management processes, and medical device security protocols, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and adherence to established architectural principles. 
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify cyber security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats, particularly in the context of medical devices, and develop mitigation strategies in alignment with the strategic vision. 
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws, regulations, and standards, with a specific emphasis on regulations governing medical device security. 
  • Coordinate the response to cyber security incidents, including those related to medical device security, following the strategic incident response plans. 
  • Oversee the vulnerability management process, including vulnerability scanning, assessment, prioritization, and remediation, in alignment with strategic objectives and architectural standards. 
  • Develop and implement security protocols and best practices for securing medical devices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient data and critical healthcare systems. 
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, particularly those involved in medical device procurement and support, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and architectural standards. 
  • Support the development and delivery of cyber security training programs and awareness campaigns, with a specific focus on data protection, vulnerability management and medical device security. 
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of data protection initiatives, vulnerability management processes, and medical device security protocols.
