Join us and discover the possibilities for your future!Compensation: TBDWorksite Location: South Campus and/or City Center Overview / Job Summary: This position is a Full-time Exempt level position, as defined by policy to mean working a minimum of 40 hours per week. The Program Director supports the Dean in the day-to-day functions of the Information Technologies; instructs and designs classes as needed/assigned (at least 50% of duties); coordinates, plans, prepares, and evaluates classroom instruction. A Program Director performs all duties as directed by the Associate Dean, Dean, Academic Vice President, or the President.Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
- Creates and/or uploads an appropriate course syllabus for each course to the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Keeps students informed and updated concerning course content, requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance requirements.
- Maintains accurate and complete scholastic records, including but not limited to course messaging in the LMS, grades, census rosters and attendance records.
- Develops, revises, and/or recommends curriculum changes which meet the objectives of the course/program and improve student learning.
- Reviews, evaluates, and recommends student textbooks and learning materials.
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in education background or computer science background.
- CompTIA A , Network and Security Certifications or other industry recognized certifications, preferred.
- A minimum of two years teaching experience in adult education is preferred.
- Must be available for required course assignments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - must be able to work with students, technical and administrative personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to process, enter and audit data accurately and quickly.
