RN - Registered Nurse / OR

(Full time and part-time benefited, Part-Time and per diem available)

Suffolk area ASC is interviewing for OR RN's for a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center with Ortho, GYN, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain Management and ENT surgical specialties. Most surgical procedures require general anesthesia or conscious sedation. **No call, weekends or holidays**

Some part-time positions are group health benefit eligible and earn Paid Time Off (PTO).

Experience and Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Min three (3 years of experience in the OR as a circulating nurse at an acute care hospital or in an ASC setting (experience that includes ICU/ER will be considered).

PREFERRED:

• Four (4) years in an acute care hospital OR or multi-specialty free-standing ASC
• Previous experience with EMR applications that incorporate the intraoperative process
• BSN

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current VA Registered Nurse (RN) License

Current ACLS, PALS
