Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is hiring a RN - Unit Coordinator for the Cardiac, Vascular and Interventional Services
Shift: Full Time Days
Position requires 18 months of RN experience and a BSN.
Relocation can be provided!
Job Description Summary:
The Team Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Supervises procedural area staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Serve as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
Bachelor's degree or other formal professional/technical preparation in a relevant discipline for the area/personnel supervised. BSN required for those departments where RN's are supervised. All licenses must be maintained in area of specialty.
