Sentara CarePlex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator/Charge Nurse) for the Medical Oncology Unit.

Full-time: 36 Hours

Shift: Night

Requirements:

*Registered Nurse BSN

*18 Months of nursing experience

We are a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing exceptional care for Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology patients.

• The unit provides the following services: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy drug administration (Certification required after 6-months of hire.)
• Pre/Post-Surgical Care* Hospice and Palliative Care
• Sickle Cell Management

RN Unit Coordinator : Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
