RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

Hiring and onboarding outstanding talent while partnering with core constituents and hiring managers, you'll own all aspects of recruiting and onboarding, including :

  • Recruit utilizing online ads, social media, job fairs, and city, state, and federal agencies
  • Write ads and postings that create a consistent corporate brand messaging
  • Partner with managers to formulate job descriptions and training plans
  • Conduct phone calls or meetings to create a shortlist of qualified candidates and set up interviews with the internal team
  • Interview priority candidates and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates
  • Use web-based technology and social media to analyze hiring trends
  • Email new hires with details about the company, including parking information, work schedules, and dress codes
  • Welcome new hires with prepared onboarding materials and training plan
  • Introduce new hires to training ambassador
  • Provide new hires with all required manuals, guidelines, and passwords
  • Gather and complete all paperwork related to new hires, including benefit and employment documents

REQUIREMENTS

What it Takes

The most successful Recruitment and Onboarding Specialists are driven, dynamic brand ambassadors committed to the company's growth and success.

Minimum Required :

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, HR, psychology, or another related field
  • 3 yrs. of recruiting experience with a track record of successful employee placement
  • Strong team working skills with the ability to coordinate team activities
  • Excellent analytical skills to examine resumes and find the best-suited candidates
  • Trustworthy with the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to work swiftly under accelerated timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Bilingual : Fluent in English and Spanish a plus
