Description

The Medical Receptionist at Sensibly Sprouted plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, medical knowledge, and customer service abilities to support both patients and healthcare providers effectively. Beyond these qualifications, a genuine care for people and a desire to help are essential qualities that make a Medical Receptionist truly impactful in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients seeking dietary guidance and assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
• Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
• Manage patient flow in the waiting room and communicate any delays to patients
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
• Assist our team with administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized office area
• Contact insurance companies to verify patient benefits

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience managing a calendar
• Minimum 1 year experience in a front desk/receptionist role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
