Production/Fabrication Personnel

We are searching for an experienced Production/Fabrication Personnel at our Redmond, OR facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
• Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Sews, cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub assemblies or finished product from inventoried materials.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Packaging
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Track production on schedule boards.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production for which they have been trained.
• Must be able to lift and carry 20-40lbs on a regular basis throughout the work day.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
• Understand how errors in production, paperwork, etc. can impact the bottom line.
• Work closely with other production personnel promoting a “can-do” attitude.
• Understand the product nomenclature.
• Work overtime as required when necessary.
• Be a team player; maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all other employees.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times; be approachable and easy to work with.
• Will work with:
  Press Feed
  Manual strip cutting
  M-Series cut and heat seal
  Panels, Mega Pro, Polar Pro
  Die cutting, flash cutting
  Curtain cutting, heat sealing, packaging
  Converting-slitting, sheeting, dusting
  Hardware
  Sewing

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Know/learn all products and nomenclature.
• Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
• Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
• May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
• May be required to lift and move larger heavier items appropriately, reach above shoulder heights, below the waist, bend stretch as needed to work on the machinery.
• The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas
• MAY required use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, and hearing protection.
• Environmental conditions may alter to excessive heat and possible colder temperatures during season changes in the manufacturing area.
