Fall IT Co-Op Support

We are searching for a student to participate in our Fall IT Co-Op Support for our Cincinnati, OH - Corporate HQ facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The IT Support Co-op will deliver quality technical support to onsite and remote locations with the ability to solve Tier 1 IT issues. This requires a range of skills from basic computer knowledge to installation of programs, setting up desk phones, desktops & laptops, general IT troubleshooting, and interacting with end users.

• Provide basic IT support to end users on equipment and software applications and ERP and other business application projects, including desktop computers, desk phones, copiers, scanners, computer operating systems, office applications, VPN, and others
• Monitor and respond to Tier 1 IT tickets, telephone calls, e-mails, and requests for technical support and elevate Tier 2/3 issues as required.
• Provide remote IT support to Satellite offices
• Document, track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions.
• Keeping an updated list of tasks and projects
• Follow support processes, strive to improve processes and procedures where applicable

Required Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Tier 1 IT issues and resolution processes
• Customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
• IT help desk experience is beneficial but not required. Prior experience using a helpdesk ticketing system is beneficial.
• Possess the ability to deal effectively with users, peers, and managers
• Organizational skills / ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010/2013/O365, Windows 7, Windows 10

Time and Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Able to work in office while training with the option to work remotely after training
