DESCRIPTION

Seeking a self-motivated individual to be a part of sales efforts across the country. This a great opportunity for a critical thinker who enjoys operating equipment.

RESPONSIBILTIES

§ Support and conduct customer demonstrations and trade shows (local, national and international) in support of winning sales for Sennebogen.

§ Ability to clearly and patiently explain all machine functions and capabilities of 7X8 machines

§ Work with diverse customers to elevate knowledge of Sennebogen products

§ Travel to support demonstration activities with customers as needed

§ Assist and conduct direct customer sales in specific territories.

§ Recruit and help manage ASP’s in designated territory.

§ Manage field testing for new products and new applications for products

§ Assist in the customer satisfaction program for Tree Care customers

§ Field calls from operators on operational issues

§ Observe customer operators for the purpose of recommending operating procedures

§ Willingness to work varied hours at customer facilities as needed

§ Provide operator familiarization regarding 7X8 controls and capabilities

§ Direct Sales in the Following States: Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota.

QUALIFICATIONS

§ 5 years working in the tree care industry with experience working in and around bucket trucks, knuckle boom cranes and tree removal utilizing cranes

§ 2 years of experience of heavy equipment operation such as a feller buncher, excavator, knuckle boom or crane; experience as a tree climber with a tree care company.

§ Teacher/trainer mentality to guide new operators on the tips and tricks of operating the 7X8 machines

§ Direct equipment sales, dealership and/or national account sales experience

§ Highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter and demonstrated follow up

§ Excellent verbal communications/presentation skills with proven ability to speak confidently and professionally in small and large group settings to internal staff and management and external customers

§ Demonstrates high level of accountability and professionalism in all dealings

§ North American travel is required (50-75%), long distance and international travel as necessary

§ Must have a passport and clean driving record

Work Environment

Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, loud noises, mechanized moving parts and vibration as well as outdoor weather and extreme conditions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires a high level of activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and abilityto adjust focus.
