Seniors Helping Seniors Austin North is Hiring a Caregiver Near Round Rock, TX

Seniors Helping Seniors Austin North -

Seniors Helping Seniors is currently seeking an In-Home Senior Caregiver, who is looking for a rewarding way to help others remain independent in their homes.

This position requires helping the client with personal care, cooking a meal, minor housekeeping and companionship.

No certifications are required, however if you are a qualified Home Health Aid, CNA, or Caregiver "in training" that is a plus, and depending on the services required this will be included in your compensation.

Wages are $16-$18 / hour.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Must be able to physically bend, stretch and turn in order to assist client with mobility
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and caregiver background check.
  • Must be respectful, patient and eager to learn specific needs of client and care plan.
  • Must respect independence, and dignity of client.
  • Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions.
  • Must be able listen and follow directions.

Main Functions :

  • Complete all activities of daily living, if required : Bathing, Dressing, Transfers to and from bed; wheelchair; toilet; etc.
  • Toileting-assess client to ensure cleanliness of perineal area, and assist with cleaning perineal area if needed.Hygiene-tasks, including toothbrushing, face washing, hair care and make-up
  • Complete all instrumental activities of daily living, including : light housekeeping, meal prep, possible laundry, possibility of running errands
