What does the job involve?
Summary:
The individual in the position of Contracts Administrator (“CA”) negotiates, accepts, and processes orders on Company products and performs tasks related to the contract performance and sales process. This individual performs duties and responsibilities under minimal supervision and nominal direction from the Contracts Manager. This is not an entry-level position. The CA is familiar and comfortable with the terms and details of complex aerospace contracts. The CA will finalize and submit responses to customer quotes, ensure proper follow-up on contract requirements, and frequently interact with customers, using good judgment and discretion to ensure customer satisfaction. The CA will assist in contract negotiations and work with the planning department on customer account activities.
The following list presents the duties and responsibilities of a CA but does not include other duties that may be assigned to this function as needed and required. The CA is a critical position for the Organization and the assigned individual must be able to perform each essential duty adequately and satisfactorily on an ongoing basis.
