Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee and drive the operational excellence of our senior living communities within the designated region. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing and enhancing the performance of multiple senior living properties. This role requires exceptional leadership, operational acumen, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care and services to our senior residents.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the overall performance, resident experience, and financial health of senior living communities within the region.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish long-term goals, operational plans, and performance metrics.
  • Drive consistent implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures across all communities.

2. Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and assess the operational and financial performance of each community, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Provide guidance to community leadership teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, develop, and mentor community leaders, fostering a culture of high-performance and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among community leaders and staff.

4. Resident and Family Engagement:

  • Champion a resident-centric approach, ensuring that the highest levels of care, safety, and satisfaction are maintained across communities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Address resident concerns and feedback in a prompt and compassionate manner.

5. Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with financial teams to establish and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures for each community.
  • Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.

6. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure communities adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Proactively address compliance issues and collaborate with legal and regulatory teams as needed.

7. Stakeholder Relationships:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with residents, families, community partners, and vendors to promote a positive reputation for the organization.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
