We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented procurement coordinator to manage purchasing operations in our company. As the procurement coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the full procurement process and related administrative tasks. Excellent customer service, organization, communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain positive vendor and supplier relationships with a high degree of customer service

• Communicate cross-functionally through exceptional written and oral skills to understand procurement needs
• Review purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Prepare and process purchase orders efficiently by utilizing top-notch organizational skills
• Verify receipt of purchases and handle discrepancies if goods are inaccurate or damaged with self-direction and through a customer-focused lens
• Manage procurement records and documentation (contracts, licenses, invoices etc.) in an exceptionally organized system
• Track spending to stay on budget and identify cost-saving opportunities while exhibiting strong work ethic and self-motivation

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or relevant field
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all levels of team members and leaders
• Exceptional verbal communication skills to convey procurement needs, orders, and relay important information clearly
• Proficient writing skills to produce well-written correspondence free of errors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
• Strong analytical, communication and organization skills
• Exhibits self-starter attitude and works well without direct supervision
• Performing of other tasks as necessary for high performance of procurement and supply management activities / other job duties as assigned
