Senior Living is Hiring a Drywall finisher Near Mills, NC

Position Overview : As a Painter in a senior living facility, your primary responsibility is to ensure the interior and exterior spaces of the facility are maintained and visually appealing.

Your role is crucial in creating a comfortable, pleasant, and safe environment for senior residents. You will work closely with the maintenance team and other staff members to ensure all painting tasks are completed efficiently and meet the facility's standards.

Key Responsibilities : Painting and Surface Preparation : Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed.

Select appropriate paint colors and finishes based on the facility's guidelines and preferences.Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve smooth and even finishes.

Ensure clean lines and precise edges between different colors and areas. Maintenance and Repair : Identify areas that require painting, touch-ups, or repair.

Repair and patch damaged surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and doors.Replace or repair damaged wallpaper or wall coverings.

Assist with minor carpentry or drywall repairs as necessary. Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Ensure all painting materials, tools, and equipment are stored and handled safely.Comply with senior living facility policies and procedures, including infection control measures and resident privacy guidelines.

Communication and Collaboration : Coordinate with the maintenance team and other staff members to schedule painting projects with minimal disruption to residents.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and their families regarding painting plans and progress.Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Quality Assurance : Maintain a high standard of quality in painting work, paying attention to detail and ensuring a professional appearance.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the facility's expectations.Respond promptly to any resident complaints or concerns related to painting and resolve them in a courteous and efficient manner.

Familiarity with color theory and design principles.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve bending, standing, and lifting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and supervisors.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Time management and organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks within given deadlines.
