Senior Living Communities is Hiring a Scheduler Supervisor (Home Health / Private Duty) Near Columbia, SC

Job Description:

Live Long Well Care, our Home Health / Private Duty division is now accepting applications for a Scheduler Supervisor (Care Coordinator Supervisor) in the Columbia area.

This position represents the Agency as a frontline customer service liaison between patient/clients, caregivers, the Client Services Manager (CSM) and the Executive Director. Works under the direction of the CSM and in coordination to support daily operations of payroll and billing processes, customer support, personnel file and medical records maintenance.

Maintains a standardized weekly schedule for all active patient/clients and document daily schedule changes on the scheduling form. Working on-call rotation every other week and weekend are requirements for the position.

Required Experience:
A. Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College or University degree desired.
  • Equivalent experience if no degree.
B. Direct Previous Experience
  • 2 or more years of experience working in home care desired.
  • 2 or more years of scheduling experience desired.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a customer facing position.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as specified by the Company and by the Company’s automobile insurance carrier.
  • Must present self in a highly professional manner and appearance.
C. Skills:
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) plus the willingness to learn other computer programs if required.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented and be able to work with numbers with a high degree of proficiency.
  • Must conduct all business with a professional manner, with a high level of confidentiality and perform under various time-sensitive or stressful situations.
D. Abilities:
  • Work indoors for the majority of the work day (fluorescent lights, HVAC system, carpeted and linoleum flooring, normal office noise levels).
  • Climb up to two flights of stairs occasionally.
  • Lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head.
  • Move objects of 40 pounds or less.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Respond to medical emergencies on a rare occasion.
  • Assist with emergency plan if necessary
