Director of Health Services Wanted!

Calling all passionate, customer-oriented individuals! Our vibrant community nestled in the heart of Boise is in search of a dedicated Director of Health Services. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality of care for all our residents. We're seeking someone with a spark of creativity, flexibility, and top-notch time management skills. Plus, a deep understanding of the unique needs of the geriatric population is key. As our Director of Health Services, you'll lead health services training initiatives and oversee our medication administration program with finesse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into daily, weekly, and monthly duties with gusto, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to uphold policies, procedures, and state regulations.
  • Be the guardian of quality care through internal audits and assessments of residents' health needs.
  • Craft personalized care plans and ensure resident safety through thorough assessments.
  • Act as the bridge between our community, residents, and their families when needed.
  • Keep a keen eye on medication practices, conducting audits and maintaining compliance.
  • Stay vigilant with our 24-hour communication system, promptly assessing and addressing resident alerts.
  • Review and update physician's notes and orders regularly to keep things running smoothly.
  • Investigate incidents and changes in resident behavior, documenting and addressing them with care.

Required Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in a related field preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of employment – it's a must!
  • At least one year of prior nursing experience in Senior Living or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, and training is available for qualified candidates.
