 Job Summary 

Senior Home Companions is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative recruiting professional to lead our Caregiver Talent Acquisition Team. You will bring your energy and creativity, along with your passion and top-notch recruiting skills to source, recruit and hire high quality caregivers to serve our clients. In this highly visible role, your will partner with the Operations Team to significantly contribute to our business and our client experience. With your entrepreneurial mindset and style, you will have the latitude to develop and implement processes that provide an excellent candidate experience, while meeting our current and future staffing needs. You must thrive in a metric-driven culture where your hard work can be measured and rewarded and use your problem solving and analytical skills to use data to improve processes and results. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Executive and Operations Leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy for all current and future caregiver needs. This includes developing an employment brand for each business, (Senior Home Companions, Senior Cottage and Homecare By Design) understanding the respective market, innovative sourcing methods, developing operational metrics and desired outcomes for hiring, and developing a “high candidate experience” recruitment process.
• Communicate and collaborate with Operational Leaders and hiring managers to ensure critical vacancies are filled on a timely basis. Proactively identify and address hiring needs. 
• Design and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates. Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures as needed. Develop innovative sourcing strategies within the community and target candidate audience. 
• Administer and maintain the Exact Hire applicant tracking system. Ensure uses are trained and have appropriate access for their role. Continue to develop efficiencies and enhance usability to seek talent and build pipelines.
• Organize recruitment events to establish a strong presence in the market and promote employer brands
• Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
• Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates
• Manage a caregiver recruiter and administrator. Ensure recruiting team is trained thoroughly and performs at a high level.
• Ensure all proper background and certification requirements are processes timely and accurately and the on-boarding process is completed. Deliver a seamless and effective onboarding process and seek to improve the process to achieve an excellent candidate experience as well as meeting the goals of the company. 
• Oversee, measure, and improve overall candidate experience. Strive for an excellent candidate experience for each candidate that connects with the company. Champion this culture throughout the organization. 
• Partner with the Human Resources team regarding employee development and employee engagement. Understand turnover data and seek to implement recruitment strategies to maintain a high percentage of caregiver retention.
• Stay current on employment law relative to interviewing and hiring. Train staff and hiring managers on critical topics. Ensure recruiting team and hiring managers are trained and are practicing effective interviews that are compliant with legal guidelines.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

• Minimum of 3- 5 years recruiting, with at least 1 year recruiting experience in a healthcare or home health care business preferred.
• Undergraduate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, PR, HR or Healthcare Administration
• Proven track record of success in sales and/or recruitment 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES 
• Exhibit an understanding and supportiveness of the mission, goals and customer service philosophy of the company
• Brings an entrepreneurial and owner mindset to the position. 
• Hands on experience sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating talent.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking software, Exact Hire a plus. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about achieving goals.
• Welcomes metrics as a measure for success and a tool for problem solving. Must be curious and analytical.
• Ability to build relationships across the organization and externally and quickly and gain the trust of others.
• Demonstrates innovation and creativity in recruitment strategies
• Maintain a professional demeanor as a leader in the company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Documents, and relevant social media platforms
