Job Summary : As a Part-time In Home Caregiver at Senior Helpers - Denver, you will be responsible for providing in-home care services to seniors in the Denver area.
This position is ideal for compassionate individuals who are looking to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
Compensation & Benefits : The compensation for this position is $17 to $21 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors.
We also offer ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a caregiver.Responsibilities : - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary- Administer medication, following proper procedures and protocols- Accompany clients to appointments or outings- Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with laundry as needed- Document daily activities and report any changes in client's physical or mental health to the supervisor- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of clients- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and fellow team membersRequirements : - Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably- Ability to pass a background check - Excellent communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with seniors- Knowledge of basic caregiving skills, including personal care, meal preparation- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays- Must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to clients' homesEEOC statement : Senior Helpers is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected class under applicable federal, state, or local laws.
