Senior Helpers of Greater Marin is seeking a dedicated caregiver for a female client in San Rafael. This is a companionship role revolving around easy walks in nature, meditation and beginner-friendly yoga. Experience with meditation and yoga is required. Prior experience as a caregiver/companion for a client with dementia is a plus.
Applicants must:

-Have some knowledge of meditation and yoga and be willing to assist client with these practices (you do not need to be an expert in these fields)
-Have reliable transportation and be willing to drive the client to/from a local park for walks
-If not already registered as a Home Care Aide in California, complete this registration (Senior Helpers will assist with the process; cost is approximately $84 out-of-pocket; financial aid is available for those who qualify)
-Complete a tuberculosis test (cost is approximately $35 out-of-pocket; financial aid is available for those who qualify)

Responsibilities

• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
• Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up

• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a Plus!
