Caregivers Needed in Marin County:

Senior Helpers of Greater Marin is seeking dedicated caregivers for clients in Marin county. 

Applicants must:
-Have reliable transportation to and from the client's home
-If not already registered as a Home Care Aide in California: complete this registration, as well as two background checks (Senior Helpers will assist with the process; cost is approximately $84 out-of-pocket)
-Complete a TB (tuberculosis) test (cost is approximately $35 out-of-pocket)
-Complete paid, online training related to the client's needs 

What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Duties include:

• Having fun,engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participating in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Preparing simple meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assisting your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living 
• Reporting what activities were completed with your clients, providing updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
