Senior Helpers of Denver is Hiring a Quality Assurance Coordinator Near Northglenn, CO

 

Senior Helpers, a leading provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Quality Assurance Coordinator for our Denver franchise location in Northglenn CO. The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator will facilitate the process of improving clinical documentation through extensive clinical documentation reviews and concurrent interactions with clinicians to fully capture a client’s condition, complications, and co-morbidities.

Position Summary: Quality Assurance Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary of $24 to $28 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, Senior Helpers - Denver offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid-time off.
Essential Duties
 

  • Maintain all company and State specific program rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Perform regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and report on company quality management program(QMP)
  • Always maintains a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
  • Compliance with all State, VA and HIPAA regulations and requirements
  • Prepares and analyzes internal and external quality reports for management staff review.
  • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the agency.
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality assurance activities
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and audits as needed
  • Stay current on all state and federal regulations pertaining to the home care industry
  • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements & Competencies

  • Must have 1-2 years of recent experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably home care.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to home care services
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and state required insurance
