Senior Helpers - North & Southwest Houston is Hiring a Caregiver Near Richmond, TX

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed.
  • Remind clients to take medications as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Certification in CPR and first aid preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
