Job Summary:
As a Caregiver at Senior Helpers - Murfreesboro, you will provide general care and support to senior citizens in Murfreesboro, TN. You will act as a companion and friend to your clients, aiding them in everyday tasks and activities. Your role is to provide comfort, compassion, dignity, and a sense of security to your clients.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time and Part-time hourly position with a compensation of $14 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly. Senior Helpers will also provide health benefits after 1 yr.
Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship to the elderly in senior homes or in their own home
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Ensure safety and monitor nutrition and hydration
• Complete errands for clients, such as grocery shopping
• Participate in recreational and social activities with clients
• Maintain accurate logs of patient health information and status
• Report changes or needs to the appropriate individuals
Requirements:
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Knowledge of occupational and physical therapy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule
