JOB TITLE: Performance Testing and Calibration Mechanic DEPARTMENT: Engineering
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Engineering Department
Summary:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent calibrates and troubleshoots tanker and lube van fluid delivery systems, primarily those involving petroleum.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
Product testing
Calibration of meters
Complete state required testing records
Complete wet test check lists
Troubleshoot, diagnose and report malfunctioning pumping systems and meters

Physical Demands:
This position reflects the Department of Labor level of 3 or "Medium Work"
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
Safety:
Follow DOT regulations regarding petroleum tanks, trailers, and box vans, as well as the policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.
Special Conditions of Employment:
Job holder is required to provide their own work tools.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
