JOB DESCRIPTION
The Telecom Field Technician will provide coverage for the newly installed telecom network, testing, repairing, and replacing parts.
They will also perform whatever maintenance is required in the timeline dictated by Company or by the equipment failure itself.
Daily support will provide statewide support for the gas sites for Eversource (from their Yankee, Nstar and EGMA companies).
Support is expected to be normal business hours, but occasional, off-hour support will be required due to unexpected equipment failure.
Use of supplied truck assumes that supplier is providing gas, insurance, and all other associated costs to vehicle and accompanying equipment.
Mileage reported by staff is separate from truck charges.
The position is multi-faceted with responsibilities that will vary dependent on project or current gas system needs.
