Seneca Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Capture Analyst to join our team. The Capture Analyst will play a crucial role in the growth and success of the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and developing strategies to win competitive bids and contracts. The ideal candidate will have strong research and analysis skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

This will be a hybrid position in our Chantilly location with office attendance 2 - 3 days a week.

This position will report directly to the Director of Capture Management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform and support capture efforts.
    • Perform in-depth research using primary and secondary sources, including industry reports, government documents, market data, and client surveys.
    • Conduct in-depth research to identify potential opportunities, target markets, and key industry trends. Analyze market dynamics, customer profile and needs relevant to our business.
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings in clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to support the capture team's efforts to win new business.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development team, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand research objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Collaborate with capture managers and other team members to identify and understand customer requirements and to develop compelling and winning proposals.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the government sector.
  • Conduct research and analysis into future plans and needs of targeted agencies/customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of potential customer needs and expectations through direct contact to establish trusted relationships with executives, stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers.
  • Work to identify and facilitate follow-on engagements, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Ability to adjust and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Familiarity with software tools for pipeline and content management
  • Experience in federal government contracting, capture and business development, with a successful track record of winning contracts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to relate business requirements in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
