Seneca Family of Agencies is Hiring a Mental Health Social Worker - Riverside Near Riverside, CA

Do you have a passion for working with youth in short-term services? Join the dedicated team at Seneca's Riverside Expedited Transition Services (ETS) program! 

As an Expedited Transition Services (ETS) Social Worker on the team, you will be responsible for coordinating services and treatment planning, coordinate visitation as needed, identify and mitigate safety risks. You will have the opportunity to provide clinical guidance to the Child and Family Team, support case consultations, conduct individual, family and group therapy as needed, and explore potential placement options.

ABOUT RIVERSIDE EXPEDITED TRANSITION SERVICES (ETS)

The Expedited Transition Services provides prevention and stabilization-oriented services designed to support young people and their caregivers before, during and after placement changes. Program staff are available up to 24-hours a day to provide phone-based assessment, in-person stabilization, and short-term intensive services designed to improve youth safety and well-being. Staff are currently providing these services in Beaumont, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the team leader and coordinate all treatment and placement activities
  • Provide Telehealth/In-Person services with youth and family to establish connection, identify strengths, needs, and their short- and long-term goals. Conduct individual, family and group therapy, as needed
  • Identify significant safety risks and provide clinically based recommendations to mitigate risks to the greatest extent possible
  • Develop trauma-focused recommendations for youth and team engagement. Assist CFT members with having greater understanding of clinical and casework issues
  • Collaborate with all relevant system partners & Identify the services and supports needed
  • Assist in screening, selection, and partnering with placements/caregivers
  • Participate in all program staff meetings, treatment reviews, FTM’s, IEPs, IPCs and other agency/county/state meetings as necessary 
  • Provide high level of communication
  • Chart documents needed for treatment services, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans and progress notes, incident reports, discharge and transition plans
  • Participate in on-call crisis response system

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
    • Current & valid registration with the California BBS
    • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends
    • Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
    • Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements
    • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.

    Preferred:

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Ability to lead and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Excellent organizational, communication and critical-thinking skills

Schedule

  • Full-time
    • Mon - Fri; 10AM - 6:30PM
    • Flexibility required, client-driven schedule
  • On-Call availability as needed.

  • Starting at $66,560 to $80,560 per year
    • Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
