Overview

The Community-Based, Bilingual Wraparound Therapist is responsible for the ongoing provision of culturally responsive mental health services to youth and their families, including individual and family therapy and child and participation in family team meetings. It is their responsibility to strive to provide the best possible individualized treatment for the youth and families. Services will be provided in the office, telehealth and community: in the families’ homes, foster homes, schools, parks,etc. They are also responsible for documentation to comply with agency-wide requirements, CalAIM standards, as well as the requirements of the counties with whom we work.

ABOUT PROGRAM

Seneca offers "Wraparound" services to children and youth susceptible of placement, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of out-of-home placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Therapists, Support Counselors, Family Partners, Facilitators and other community members who have an important role in the family.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally responsive individual or family therapy for a caseload of up to 5 youth and/or families at least weekly
• Meet with youths' families as clinically appropriate for readiness of family therapy
• Complete written mental health notes, treatment plans, clinical assessments, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and timely
• Maintain close communication with other Seneca providers to design, implement ,and monitor treatment planning for clients
• Communicate and collaborate as part of multidisciplinary team
• Participate in weekly individual and/or group supervision
• Maintain availability to provide crisis intervention services as needed and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation at a specific interval
• Provide case management and coordinate linkage to other community resources as necessary
• Maintain fidelity to the National Wraparound Initiative model via adherence to key principles
• Attend all required training and maintaining BBS credentialing as needed

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
• LCSW or MFT license eligible with the California BBS required
• Clearance of TB test, fingerprinting, and any other State/Federal requirements
• Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability through Seneca's vehicle policy
• Direct experience working with youth in the child welfare system, with a preference for those that have provided research-based interventions and/or therapy-based services
• Cultural responsiveness and ability to work with a diverse population
• Organizational and writing skills

• Full time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Starting at $75,010 - $89,010 per year, actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
• Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
