The Director of Operations at Send Me a Pro is responsible for all operations and financial performance of all franchisees. You will grow a portfolio of successful franchisee businesses and will develop and implement strategies to achieve each franchisee’s financial, operational and customer-service goals, while addressing each location's unique strengths and challenges.

Offering multiple services allows you to diversify your investment, reduce your risk and increase your earning potential. Historically speaking, every category is a standalone franchise business model. No one has ever aggregated multiple services with an Uber like experience under one franchise, until now. The ability to add more services and mitigate risk is what is leading to our exponential growth.

We are a very fast growing brand and are awarding franchises at a very fast pace. We are looking to expand our team with a Director of Operations to lead and oversee the onboarding and managing of new franchisees to ensure they are successful.

This is a 100% remote work opportunity. Preferably located in Orlando, Florida.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow a portfolio of successful franchise businesses: Develop and implement strategies to achieve each franchisee’s financial, operational and customer-service goals, while addressing each location's unique strengths and challenges. Develop and execute unit level plans that build sales, increase profits and develop people.
  • Internal Team and Division Management: Manage all internal teams and divisions, including onboarding, marketing, administration, and technology, to support the success of franchisees. Coordinate efforts across departments to ensure seamless operations and effective support for new and existing franchisees.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify, develop and implement new revenue sources for franchisees and and lead the execution of these initiatives alongside franchisees.
  • Lead a team of leaders: Motivate, coach and strengthen Franchise Owners to be great territory operators.
  • Serve as a resource: Provide expertise and leadership on key franchisee support areas.
  • Build successful teams : Analyze the staff and be able to devise the right kind of talent management and recruiting strategies. Identify training gaps and work to fill them.
  • Train, coach, and lead/support new franchisees with onboarding process and systems execution.
  • Manage other team members involved in franchisee onboarding and support process.
  • Support franchisee onboarding and operation and be the point of contact for management.
  • Conduct Weekly Calls with each franchisee to review sales and any operational or reporting issues including operational challenges.
  • Ensure franchisee compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures with Quarterly reports and develop standards and corrective action plans, milestones and timetables where appropriate with franchisees.
  • Support franchisee business and assist with developing business plans to maximize improvement (operations, marketing, training, etc.)
  • Assist franchisee with promotions that drive sales and profitability.
  • Collect and maintain an active working knowledge of the key business metrics for their assigned franchisees and use the metrics to analyze issues and opportunities for each operation and the franchise business as a whole.
  • Employ effective interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively drive company objectives and manage change.
  • Communicate and educate monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Following, executing, and enhancing operations manuals and checklists based on learnings and best practices.
  • Assisting in the creation of operations tools and materials that drive continuous improvement to the franchise onboarding and training process.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of the Home Service industry
  • Experience working with CRMs
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing and Grassroot marketing
  • New Franchisee onboarding

  • Strong Excel and Word skills
  • Expert Customer Service, writing skills, communication and interpersonal skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 5 years of prior operations role at a franchisor business in the home service industry overseeing 10 or more franchisees.
  • Management experience leading a team including training and coaching, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Award winner. A track record at distinguished accomplishments in prior employment.
  • Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of home services.

COMPENSATION

  • $75,000 - $125,000 / year based on performance.
  • Long term compensation based on performance of franchisees with true alignment of interests.
  • Eligible for royalty split and equity compensation plan.
