Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the logistics department
- Manage and optimize the shipping and receiving process to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Utilize logistics systems to track and manage inventory levels
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation of goods
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain
- Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field
- Strong knowledge of materials management principles and practices
- Proficient in using logistics systems and software for tracking and managing inventory
- Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and order picking processes
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles, including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier)
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
