Responsibilities

CROWD CONTROL SPECIALIST (ON-CALL): This position is responsible for making sure patrons are not acting aggressively or destructively, and to protect staff, property and equipment from damage. The ideal candidate must be experienced with conflict resolution, have great communication skills, be guest focused and be excellent in customer service. Candidates must know what to do quickly before a situation gets out of control and use his/her problem-solving skills to resolve all issues.

SECURITY OFFICERS (ON CALL): The Security Officer is responsible for promoting an outgoing, friendly, customer-oriented personality at all times. They will provide basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees, and the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Previous security experience in a night club security environment or in a high volume establishment preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Formal civilian-related security training is preferred.
• Refined crowd management and problem-solving abilities.
• Unrivaled observational and conflict management skills.
• Capacity to be stern, as required.
• Excellent verbal communication abilities.
• Physically agile with impeccable reflexes.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Possess great physical stamina.

Work Environment:

• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk around the property. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
