Seminole County Board of County Commissioners is Hiring an Enterprise Administration Program Manager Near Sanford, FL

Daily leadership and supervision of the Information Services (IS) Enterprise Administration team. Professional and technical work in the design, management, and implementation of data center, server, storage, Active Directory, email, and hosted application systems in an enterprise environment. Responsibilities include ensuring teams work efforts support the IS Services Manager and Department initiatives and goals. Position works in coordination with other IS technology teams to deliver technology solutions and support customer business needs. 

**Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description. 

**Additional compensation based on licensure.

Design, engineer, and coordinate integration of data center, server, storage, Active Directory, email, and hosted application architecture.
 
Manage technology lifecycles, capacity planning, incident/problem management, change management, and service operations for team's technology systems. 
 
Recommend enhancements to IS security posture and ensure adherence to teams IS security procedures. 
 
Perform ongoing system and process monitoring to realize efficiencies and improve architectural design, planning, and implementation.
 
Ensure team work order SLA's are achieved, projects are on schedule, and customer's needs are met.
 
Perform as a project manager on technology projects ensuring proper resources are utilized to support customer needs.
 
Maintain a proactive role understanding and evaluating emerging technologies and matching them with County needs.
 
Act as a liaison on special projects including assisting other agencies (elected officials, municipalities, etc.) with the configuration, installation and interoperation of equipment.
 
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize and prioritize tasks successfully as well as operate effectively in a government agency environment.
Provide technical and professional support, guidance and development for Information Services staff.
 
Initiate and recommend hiring, termination, performance evaluations, disciplinary action and/or commendatory actions for assigned personnel.
 
Develop and make recommendations to the IS Services Manager for the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
 
Assist in the preparation of the operating budget for the team and make recommendations to IS Services Manager for improvements or new initiatives.
 
Additional Duties:
Performs other related work as required.
In the event of an emergency, all employees are considered essential personnel and may be required to perform alternate duties.Bachelor's Degree in an associated field and (5) years' experience in Information Technology data center, server, storage, Active Directory, account administration, email, and application hosting systems including (2) years' experience in Information Technology related supervision. 
 
Microsoft certifications, training, and experience commensurate with job role a plus.
 
Must have ITIL certification or be attain this within 12 months of hire.
 
A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.Extensive knowledge of technology system design, analysis, and operation.
Extensive knowledge of the operating characteristics, capabilities, limitations and interoperation of enterprise data, voice, wireless, security, server, AS/400, application, and storage networks.
Extensive knowledge of disaster recovery/business continuity including managing multiple data centers
 
Knowledge in evaluating, implementing, and managing Cloud based services.
 
Experience managing enterprise resource planning systems and line of business applications.
 
Experience in vendor management including contract management.
 
In-depth experience with the capabilities, configuration, and management of HP servers, storage, MS operating systems, and infrastructure in an enterprise network.
Ability to recognize, diagnose and correct technology systems operating problems and recommend solutions to realize efficiencies.
Must be able to learn new concepts quickly and resolve complex technical problems effectively.
Experience in the management of multi-team technology projects impacting the public, County staff, and elected officials.
Prefer knowledge in security, project management, Cisco networking and telephony,
Checkpoint/Palo Alto firewalls, HP SAN, HP server and Microsoft environments.
 
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
All employees must attend Seminole County Required Trainings.
Department Specific trainings per position may be required.
