Semco Carbon, located in Lorain, OH specializing in custom carbon and graphite machining is growing! This is a fast pace job shop environment that requires quick turnaround to support our customer needs. The ideal candidate must maintain high-quality work with attention to detail. Good communication skills are required, along with a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.

The CNC Machinist will operate CNC mills to perform multiple machining operations and make first piece inspections.

CNC Machinist Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of CNC Mill experience with HAAS controllers
• Read blue prints, part drawings, and job travelers
• Inspect parts and ensure parts maintain the required print dimensions
• Meet established cycle times and efficiency rates
• Load tools and touch them off
• Monitor machinery, tools, and work pieces for any issues
• Enter data into ERP system
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Must be able to read mics and calipers
• Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs.
• Must be dependable; good attendance is required
• Read G and M code

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
