Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality of food
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe handling of food
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain efficiency
- Assist with banquet or hotel events as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
