Job Description
  • Assist with developing strategies to support client projects, programs, and objectives
  • Work within a team to compile, complete, formulate and interpret technical data, written data, and financial information relating to assigned programs and projects
  • Participate in strategic thinking mapping operations and positioning to execute plans
  • Produce information by researching, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
  • Maintain customer/corporate confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Complete projects and action items by following up and tracking to closure
  • Prepare reports and/or recommendation for clients by collecting and analyzing information
  • Support senior leadership team on engagement management
  • Conduct research on value based outcomes
  • Interface, in a professional manner, with Coast Guard Senior Leaders (equivalent to C-Suite Executives)
  • Experience utilizing digital tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Teams, etc.), Adobe Acrobat DC, and Sharepoint Online.
Job Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
  • The ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Three years of experience and skill in editing; knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • The ability to use reference guides, grammar, and style manuals is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and 1 or more years of experience required; experience supporting DHS or DoD clients as a contractor is preferred
  • 1 or more years of experience required; experience supporting DHS or DoD clients as a contractor is preferred
  • Experience supporting DoD, DHS, or USCG clients as a contractor is preferred. DHS or USCG HQ experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience with DoD or DHS acquisition processes is preferred
  • Prior military service is preferred, prior USCG is a plus
  • Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Public Trust
  • Successful candidates will be subject to appropriate background investigation to determine suitability or eligibility to work in public trust or sensitive positions.
  • U.S. citizenship required
