Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales intern with strong communication skills to join our sales department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties that support the Finished Good Division sales strategies. As a sales intern, you will collaborate with our sales, customer service and marketing teams. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our sales and marketing channels.

This internship seems like a well-rounded experience that will allow you to gain exposure to different aspects of sales and marketing. It emphasizes both creative thinking and strong communication, which are valuable assets in the business world.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

• Perform research on competition and market intelligence

• Support the sales team in daily administrative tasks

• Suggest CRM system improvements to create efficiencies and maintain CRM data accuracy

• Identify opportunities to improve standardized processes for sales inquiries from the various communication mediums (phone, emails and chat)

Qualifications 

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Passion for the sales industry and its best practices

• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

• Solid understanding of different sales techniques

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office

 Language and Teamwork Required 

• Strong verbal and written skills.

• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 Education and Experience Required 

• Current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree

 Physical Demands

• Majority of work will be done while seated at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to use a computer and phone to conduct business.
