Be a Cashier for AAA Parking at Hotel Indigo in Downtown Los Angeles. You can put some extra money in your pocket while meeting new people!

As a Cashier, you will:

• Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups.
• Assuring correct change is given and all transactions are accounted for accurately.
• Hand out tickets (self-parking) Post tickets (Self-parking/ Valet)
• Answer the telephone from guests.
• Request cars for guests.
• Operate a computer with a terminal or cash register depending on the location.
• Daily Station Reports are required which may include the incorporation of reports from the parking management system.
• Ensure that charges are posted to guests' rooms, track tickets & keys as well as answer requests for items retrieved from cars.
• Keep the Valet area clean.
• Offer information pertaining to services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• May be asked to move a car or two!

As a Cashier, you will be required to:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to take a proactive and strategic approach to deal with issues.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to communicate, read and write basic English and perform basic Math.
• Must be able to stand 100% of the shift. (per location)
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds, and possess the mobility and dexterity to meet the demands of this position.
• Flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.
• Willing to adhere to all AAA Parking uniform and appearance standards.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, hotel staff, and co-workers.

This is a Part-time hourly position (25-29 hours per week).

The position participates in Tip Pool. Tips are distributed daily.
