Description

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for walking the location to observe the physical condition and appearance of the location, the volume of business and the performance of the attendants/cashiers.
Daily management of parking operations Responsible for creating weekly schedules and uploading into the timekeeping system
Check clocks and tickets for accuracy and ample supply
Learn to adjust and repair all equipment Supervise morning/evening rush Monitor the performance of all employees and provide feedback as appropriate Train associates at the location, including all operational procedures and policies Read and review all operational manuals and complete all onsite training Assist with employee reviews Manage day to day operations when manager is not on property

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate valet information and policies in a manner easily understood by guests
• Ability to act independently and make accurate decisions
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions for long periods
• Must be able to run to retrieve cars, lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit the full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing and crouching
• Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with MVR criteria meeting company guidelines, if required.
• Ability to operate a standard and automatic transmission, if required.
