Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide assistance and support to a young man with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome and ASD in our home here in Livermore. As his caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing his quality of life by assisting with daily activities and ensuring his wellbeing. We value a fun, safe and loving environment for our son, who is a joy to spend time with.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Maintain daily routines for educational, feeding and therapeutic goals

- Maintain a clean and safe environment

- Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote social interaction, both in the home and in the community

- Implement behavior management techniques when dealing with challenging behaviors

Skills:
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for individuals with special needs

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred

- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others

- Ability to adapt to changing needs
