Our client is currently seeking a Bulk Material Handling Engineer.

Job Duties :

• Leading, performing, and overseeing specific project tasks related to mechanical and material handling design.
• Performing equipment sizing calculations.
• Creation of equipment, project, and material specifications.
• Produce construction documents.
• Performing field verifications of new designs and existing environments.
• Collecting existing information and interpreting data.
• Creation of reports, project summaries and recommendations.
• Developing projects from initial design concepts through construction.
• Coordinating with other disciplines to generate project goals for the client.
• Providing onsite construction assistance.
• Ability to Travel as needed - around 20%.

Requirements :

• BSME or BSMET
• 5-10 years minimum experience in a Design Engineering role for material handling projects
• High Proficiency in CAD design and Design Standards (AutoCAD and other 3D tools)
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills

Preferred :

Experience in processing and handling of wood chips, bark, whole logs, and other materials in the pulp and paper or wood products industry is preferred

Pay Range :

$36 44 / hr, depending on experience
