Selectek, Inc is Hiring a Distribution Engineer Near Peachtree, GA
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems regarding electric distribution utility design
- Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities
- Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and drawings
- Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Accurate record keeping
- As needed, assist in power restoration efforts with natural disaster events
- Support of the company's goals and represent the company in a positive and professional manner
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- 2 plus years of distribution engineering experience
- Ability to perform electric distribution calculations, create drawings and Bill of Materials for construction work packages
- Experience with PoleForeman or similar software
- EIT or PE
- Understanding of overhead to underground conversion design
