- Manage the product design lifecycle from conception to full scale production including component design.
- Document results of testing in engineering test reports and write assembly procedures for the manufacturing team.
- Lead FMEA events to gain a detailed understanding of potential failure models and take appropriate action to prevent occurrences.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Product design or design engineering experience
- Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the following processes: sand casting, permanent mold casting, machining, and welding
- Experience with SolidWorks, 3D, CAD, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Demonstrated experience with bringing new products to market and redesigning existing products
- $90 100k, depending on experience
