The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- SAFETY: Responsible, professional, and accountable for conducting job tasks in a safe and healthy manner which includes performing in accordance with Health Safety Security & Environmental (HSSE) philosophy, standards, programs, rules and permits.
- Work responsibly and take any necessary precautions to protect self and others from injury and health hazards.
- Coordinate project activities to help ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and clients.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Track project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on status, issues, and next steps.
- Support project managers in resource planning, procurement, and contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Assists procurement as needed, with technical expertise for material/equipment specifications. Support cost reduction/efficiency mandates.
- Assists with compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices, as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
