Select Physical Therapy is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist (Ortho, Lymphedema) in Westlake, CA

Our Westlake outpatient therapy center continues to expand, and we are seeking a compassionate and driven licensed physical therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences on a full-time basis. We are looking for a therapist with a special interest in lymphedema to treat a mixed lymphedema and ortho caseload. Adult ortho and lymphedema experience required, lymphedema certification preferred. Lymphedema certification will be supported for those not already certified and must be completed within 12 months of employment. Ideal candidates would be willing to split treating time between our Westlake and West Hills centers as needed to meet the lymphedema needs of our community.

Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Compensation: Salary range $87,000 - $100,000/year commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
• Adult ortho experience
• Lymphedema experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lymphedema certification
• Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)
