SUMMARY

The role of Assembly / Production Worker is to assist in production activities as required; conducting various assembly, packaging, sealing operations, and complying with all safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists Production Supervisor with production tasks/issues as needed or assigned.
• Fabricates and heat seals various types of heat sealable materials into various sizes and shapes. Operates various heat sealing equipment.
• From time to time may be required to conduct industrial sewing operations.
• Welds plastic corrugated sheet into trays using Ultra-sonic welding process.
• Installs material on Sheeter as required.
• Assists in job set-up and material handling when requested by Production Supervisor.
• Conducts shipping tasks and prepares goods for shipment as requested.
• Responsible to follow Company policy and practices
• Responsible to keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Responsible to properly document production activity.
• Responsible to properly and accurately label product and assembly components.
• Responsible to comply with all regulations as established by various government regulatory agencies.
• Conducts physical inventory as needed.
• Performs all other duties as required by Management.
• Writes procedures as requested.
• Assists QC department, as requested, and helps ensure that plan is cGMP/ISO compliant.
