Life Actuarial Associate III

What You’ll Do: As a Life Actuarial Associate III on our Financial Reporting and Analysis team, you will be responsible for the calculation, analysis, and review of statutory reserves and other balances for life insurance products. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the production and analysis of actual financial results, as well as other key projects and initiatives. In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in a variety of other areas across the company.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree in math, actuarial science, or related degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least four years of related work experience and ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) professional designation preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of actuarial software and/or programming ability required.
• Previous experience with PolySystems actuarial software preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers.
• Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
