Selby Jennings is Hiring an Actuarial associate Near Des Moines, IA
What You’ll Do :
- Calculate, analyze, and review statutory reserves and other balances for life insurance products.
- Contribute to the production and analysis of actual financial results.
- Participate in key projects and initiatives related to financial reporting and analysis.
What It Takes to Join Our Team :
- Hold a college degree in math, actuarial science, or a related field; equivalent experience is also considered.
- Possess at least four years of relevant work experience.
- Preferably hold the ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) professional designation, or demonstrate equivalent work experience.
- Display advanced knowledge of actuarial software and / or programming abilities.
- Previous experience with PolySystems actuarial software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Have a solid understanding of life insurance products.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- Be capable of working from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
